The Institute of Technical Engineering was created in 2008. The following fields of study were assigned to this institute: Computer Science, Geodesy and Cartography, Civil Engineering.
Computer Science - this field of study enables students to continue education in MSc studies within a chosen speciality in the university of their choice.

Geodesy and Cartography - education in this field of study started in the academic year 2007/2008. The education lasts 7-semesters, after which the graduates obtain an Engineer's Degree. The graduates are well-prepared to work in geodetic companies in Poland and abroad, run their own geodetic enterprise, run their own geodetic services (after obtaining the necessary state licence), work at all levels of local administration or work in vocational education.
The curriculum of engineering studies in the field of Geodesy and Cartography enables the graduates to study for a Master's degree at AGH University of Science and Technology or any other university of their choice.
The graduates obtain a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. They obtain qualifications for designing uncomplicated building and engineering objects, as well as supervising construction processes, maintenance and use.
Civil Engineering- the graduates gain the knowledge to perform the ancillary or joint creative activities, collaborate in designing technological processes in the manufacture of building materials and building and engineering objects; use information systems applied in broadly defined civil engineering. The graduates familiarize themselves with the organization of construction industry and the procedures related to investment completion as well as with the legally binding regulations. The acquired knowledge is based on the achievements of modern technology and is the basis for constant learning and studying at the higher level of education. After meeting the statutory requirements, the graduates become entitled to exercise independent technical functions in the construction industry.
