Bachelor studies in the field of Pedagogy last 3 years (6 semesters) and the students will obtain a Bachelor's degree.
The graduates of vocational studies in the field of Pedagogy have general knowledge of pedagogy, sociology and psychology indispensable for understanding social-cultural context of education, upbringing or welfare work, as well as continuing their own professional development. The curriculum aims at getting to know the basics of pedagogical axiology and teleology, as well as mastering practical skills within the scope of social communication, enriching and perfecting their own knowledge and competence within the scope of practical acting and creating their own methodical workshop. The studies in the field of Pedagogy provide a basis for getting conscientious professional preparation, developing abilities of a reflective look at the graduates' own professional role and deepened understanding of educational reality. The graduates acquire basic professional qualifications which depend on a chosen speciality. They are prepared to work in different pedagogical-educational institutions, specialist clinics or institutions of social prevention. Irrespective of the speciality they learn the basics of computer science and acquire the ability to use a computer, also in education.
